On January 24, 2015, Famighetti & Weinick, PLLC partner, Matt Weinick, will co-present a continuing legal education program at the Nassau County Bar Association.
The segment, entitled “Alphabet Soup of Labor and Employment Cases,” is part of the Bar Association’s Bridge-the-gap weekend which provides all the CLE credits newly admitted attorneys need for their first two years of practice.
Weinick will co-present with Chris Marlborough of the Marlborough Law Firm. Weinick will discuss the basics of employment discrimination law, including statutes of limitations, procedural requirements, elements of discrimination claims, and issue spotting. Marlborough will provide a primer on wage and hour cases.
